A few years ago, after more than a decade having a great time working in the events industry, it struck me that there was room for an events management agency that was just a little different.

Every day is an opportunity to have fun, be unique, come up with really imaginative ideas and solutions. I chose our name because raccoons are inquisitive, tenacious and problem-solving creatures. These attributes are what we bring to the party.

What I love about my job is that each event & all of our clients are totally unique & that gets us out of bed in the morning and raring to go.

I’ve been fortunate to work alongside so many inspiring people & I’m honoured to be doing the same thing while running my own agency.

I remember, in my first “real job” I saw a group of colleagues always swanning in and out of the office with their wheelie bags, and I said, to my then boss, “why are they always in and out of the office”, she replied “that’s the Events Team” and told me all about Events. I wanted in!

Since then, I have been fortunate to work with some wonderful people across a range of roles, worked on some brilliant events and seen some amazing place.

Throughout my career, I still get the same comment: “you’re always smiling” whilst I prance around with my clipboard.

My passion in life is people and travel, and I get both with my job!

In my personal time - I have a 97 year old friend, who I take shopping on a weekly basis. I met him through Age UK in 2020 and we’ve been great friends ever since. He thoroughly enjoys my IT for 90+ year old lessons…!

I saw a quote the other day – “make today so awesome, yesterday gets jealous” – I love that, and very much sums me up, living for the now and making each day count!

I've always had a passion for organising and managing projects — it all started as a child making class registration forms and name lists for fun! That early love of structure has grown into a much-loved career through decades in events and project management.

I love the full journey: from the initial spark of an idea, through detailed planning, to the buzz and energy of live, on-site execution. Every event is a new opportunity to create something meaningful and memorable.

My career has taken me around the world, working on a wide range of exciting projects with amazing teams. No matter the location or scale, I always believe in getting the job done with great communication and a good sense of humour for some laughs along the way!

At home, I run a different kind of operation: a lively household with three sons, one husband, and a dog! Weekends are filled with dog walks, football, and fun. Family means everything to me, and my downtime is usually spent surrounded by loved ones, good food, and great conversation.

My three big passions in life is to travel, meet people and achieve goals and I get to do that in my work as well as my personal life.

As an Event Planner, I thrive on bringing people together and the energy and adrenalin that comes with hosting and planning an event.

Bringing everything together behind the scenes, finding solutions and being on-hand to make things go smoothly is a key part of what I do and strive to deliver the best experience for our clients.

When I am not creating events, I love nothing more than being outdoors with my sprocker spaniel, Monty, running around the countryside finding new routes to explore, followed by a cafe stop for a good coffee and a bit of cake!

My motto in life is "We only have one life so live it large" and that is exactly how I live my life, making every day count!

With over 20 years experience in Event Management and Business Development, my default is to go above and beyond to ensure any event runs without a hitch .

I’m thoroughly organised and have a ‘can do, will do’ attitude meaning I easily build rapport with those I work with, whether it is a client, colleague or supplier.

A dedicated Raccoon based in Sydney, I’m super excited to continue growing what we do across the APAC region.

An Innovation Day that has been running for 6 years, successfully growing from 90 attendees to a record 390. Our brief was to deliver a focused and personalised event with quantifiable return on investment (ROI) for every attendee.

We were appointed by CAMSS World, an event facilitating company for IT business leaders who deliver events in Canada and the UK, to deliver an end-to-end event management solution for their UK event in May.

An annual summer event for 262 adults and children. Their 'EGG-stravaganza' event earlier in the year had been a huge success and employee expectations were high.

Project managing a virtual seminar expected to attract over 800 global registrations, and showcasing our client’s technology, meant there was no margin for error.
